There are two sides to what we do: Training & Lessons, for riders and horses, and Owner Education & Support, for people who want to understand their horses and their veterinarian’s guidance better.

Training & Lessons

Our Owner-Trainer Development service stands out, teaching you to manage and train your horse with techniques rooted in equine psychology and groundwork, fostering a profound partnership.

While we do not provide lesson horses, we offer the flexibility to travel to your barn or meet at a local arena, ensuring premium, convenient instruction tailored to your needs.

Hunter/Jumper Coaching

Experience focused, one-on-one lessons that refine your technique and build your competitive edge. Kristina’s coaching prepares you for local and regional hunter/jumper competition, with the skills, preparation, and confidence to show well in every arena.

General Riding & Handling

Whether you ride for pleasure or you’re just getting started, these lessons build correct, confident fundamentals. Kristina tailors each session to you and your horse, so you leave with practical skills for the saddle and the barn aisle.

Groundwork & Equine Preparation

Great partnerships begin on the ground. Through thoughtful groundwork and horsemanship training, you and your horse learn to communicate clearly, move with trust, and build the foundation that makes every ride safer, softer, and more rewarding.

Owner Education & Support

Horsemanship doesn’t stop at the arena gate. Our educational coaching helps horse owners feel informed, prepared, and supported, whether their horse is recovering under veterinary care or they simply want more confidence in everyday care.

Owner education is not veterinary care, diagnosis, treatment, medication guidance, rehabilitation, or exercise planning, and it does not replace veterinary oversight. If your horse is injured, lame, sick, or in distress, contact your veterinarian right away.

Preparing for your Vet

Leave every appointment knowing what to ask and what your veterinarian meant. Kristina helps you organize your notes, photos, and videos, prepare your questions, and request written instructions when you need clarity, so your conversations with your vet are productive.

Understanding You’re Vet’s Guidance

Recovery can feel overwhelming. Through regular check-ins and plain-language education, Kristina helps you understand how horses heal, follow your veterinarian’s plan with confidence, and feel supported every step of the way. Your veterinarian makes all medical decisions.

Everyday Horse Care Education

How do I get started?

For lessons and training, use our contact page to tell us about you and your horse. For owner education, fill out the client intake form, share veterinary clearance if your horse is injured, sick, or recovering, and schedule your first session. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for a response.

What’s the difference between groundwork, horsemanship training, and riding lessons?

Groundwork focuses on handling, communication, and trust from the ground. Horsemanship training builds your understanding of how to read and work with your horse. Riding lessons, including hunter/jumper and general riding and handling, develop your skills in the saddle. Many clients combine them.

Do I need my own horse?

Yes, our program is built around you and your horse. If you don’t have a horse yet, we can help you find a lease horse to ride and train with. Reach out to tell us about your goals, and we’ll talk through the best way to get started.

Can you tell me what’s wrong with my horse or what to do next?

No. Identifying a specific horse’s problem or deciding what comes next belongs to your veterinarian. What we can do is help you describe what you’re seeing, prepare questions, request written instructions, and understand the general concepts behind your vet’s guidance, so you can have a clear conversation together.

Do you travel to my barn?

Yes. We are fully mobile and travel to barns throughout Tooele, Grantsville, Park City, Bountiful, Herriman, Sandy, and surrounding areas. See our Travel page for details.

Will you come to my vet appointments?

When you request it, yes. We attend appointments or calls as a support person to help you take notes and ask your questions. You receive written notes afterward, and your vet remains in charge of your horse’s care.
