Cancelation Policy

We understand that life with horses can be unpredictable. To be fair to all participants and allow us to plan effectively, the following policy applies:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the clinic date will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior will receive a 50% refund of the total clinic fee (or the deposit can be transferred to a future clinic, subject to availability).
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the clinic are non-refundable. The full fee will be retained.
  • In cases of horse injury or rider illness with a veterinarian or doctor’s note, we will work with you to transfer your spot to a future clinic when possible.

We reserve the right to cancel a clinic due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, in which case you will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses you may incur.

No-shows will be charged the full clinic fee with no credit or refund.

Payment Information

Full payment is required to secure your spot in a clinic. We accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Payment plans are not available for clinics due to their limited size and preparation needs.

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of registration.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 10 days prior to the clinic date.

Group discounts or custom hosting rates are available—please inquire!

Liablility Release Forms

For the safety of everyone — riders, horses, and our team — all participants (and parents/guardians for minors) must sign our Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Form prior to taking part in any clinic. This is standard in equine activities and helps everyone understand that working with horses involves inherent risks.

Download and complete the form in advance. No rider will be permitted to participate without a completed and signed form.

Testimonials

“Kristina did an outstanding job teaching saddle fit and saddle pad fit during our clinic. She made everything so clear and easy to understand. We walked away with a much better knowledge of western saddles, their components, different tree styles, and how to find the right fit for each individual horse. This clinic was incredibly valuable!”

“Kristina did an amazing job with our 4H English riding clinic. She was incredibly kind and supportive with all the kids. We started with a rail warm-up and individual position corrections, then moved into a fun pole class. The higher-level riders jumped a course while the rest of us watched and learned. It was incredibly valuable and so much fun — we loved it so much that we started taking regular lessons with her!”

“Working with Kristina to host a clinic for our boarders was a pleasure. She was easy to collaborate with, very professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Our riders left smiling with notebooks full of great information. Highly recommend her for any barn wanting to offer quality clinics!”

FAQ

Who are the clinics designed for?

Our clinics are open to riders ages 8 and up of all levels — from beginners to experienced competitors. We keep groups small (usually 4–8 riders) so everyone receives personalized attention. We also welcome adult amateurs and riders with senior or retired horses.

Do I need my own horse to participate?

Clinics are designed for you and your own horse so we can focus on your specific partnership and progress together. In rare cases, we may be able to help arrange a suitable horse — please inquire when registering.

If you don’t currently have a horse, you are still welcome to attend as an auditor. Auditor spaces allow you to watch, learn, take notes, and ask questions without riding. These spots are limited and offered at a reduced rate.

Can I audit or watch a clinic without riding?

Yes! Auditing is welcome and encouraged. Auditor spots are limited and priced lower than riding spots. Contact us for current auditor rates and availability.

What is the difference between a clinic and regular lessons?

Clinics are intensive, topic-focused group sessions that allow for more repetition, specialized drills, and learning from watching others. They are a great supplement to weekly lessons and excellent for show preparation or targeted skill-building.

What level of fitness is required for my horse?

Horses should be sound and healthy enough to participate comfortably in the scheduled activities. For clinics like “Bringing a Mature Horse Back into Work” or “Senior Horse Biomechanics and Care,” we tailor the workload to each horse’s current fitness level. We’re happy to discuss your horse’s specific situation before you register.

What should I bring to the clinic?

Helmet (ASTM/SEI approved), riding boots, appropriate riding attire, your horse’s regular tack, a lunge line and whip (if needed), water for yourself and your horse, and a chair for breaks. We’ll send a full “What to Bring” list with your confirmation.

What is your weather policy?

Clinics will run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe for horses or riders (e.g., lightning, extreme heat, or heavy ice). We will notify you as early as possible if a clinic needs to be rescheduled. Indoor arenas are preferred when available.

How far in advance should I register?

We recommend registering at least 3–4 weeks in advance as spots are limited and fill quickly. Early registration also qualifies for early-bird pricing when available.
